Effective 2026-05-24. This policy is a v1 stub. It reflects our current practices and will be expanded as we add features.
What we collect
- Account data: email address and authentication identifiers (via Better Auth and Google OAuth).
- Learning profile: learner name, grade, primary curriculum, interests (you supply these on the onboarding form).
- Pathway inputs: nationality, residency dates, day-count estimates, schooling history, language test levels, parent residency information — entered into the Pathway Information Explorer when you generate a summary.
- Subscription data: Stripe customer ID, subscription status and plan tier. Card details are processed by Stripe and never stored on Acumora's infrastructure.
- Usage data: tutor message counts, request logs (Cloudflare Workers operational logs).
How we use it
- To run the Tool and tailor its outputs to your inputs.
- To maintain authentication, billing, and account state.
- To enforce free-tier usage limits.
- To send service emails relevant to your account.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share Pathway inputs with advertisers, brokers, or referral partners.
Retention
- Pathway summaries (the intake plus the generated comparison) are retained for 90 days from generation and then automatically deleted from our database. This applies to both anonymous and authenticated summaries.
- Account profile and subscription state are retained for as long as your account exists. You may delete your account at any time by writing to hello@acumora.com; account deletion cascades to all your saved summaries.
Where data lives
Acumora is hosted on Cloudflare Workers. Primary data (D1) is replicated across Cloudflare's edge network with a primary region policy set to support our user base. Session data is held in Cloudflare KV. Card processing is performed by Stripe.
If you are located in a jurisdiction with personal-information export restrictions (including but not limited to mainland China under PIPL, or the EU/UK under GDPR), please review the data location implications before submitting personal information.
Minors
Acumora's service is designed for use by parents on behalf of learners, including learners who may be minors. Where the Tool collects information about a minor, the submitting adult represents that they have the authority to provide it. We apply data minimisation to minor information and do not target advertising at minors.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing hello@acumora.com. We respond within 30 days.
